Thanks for your curiosity. Let's see where this journey of possibilities takes us.

First Domestic Road Ride “Successfully” Completed!

Also marked my first long-distance ride on a 100% self-assembled road bike [Party] (equipped with a DJI Action 5 Pro, of course).

The entire route flowed smoothly—no red lights, no interruptions. Maintained a relaxed 22+ km/h with ease, enjoying the scenery while casually reciting Song dynasty poetry and humming little tunes along the way.

One small hiccup: close to the 21.2 km mark (half-marathon distance), my rear tire blew. Likely due to the scorching pavement temperature or some mysterious road debris. Maybe I pushed too hard on that gravel-strewn section—I was going for a speed test toward the end and likely hit 50–60 km/h. Lesson learned: true road bikes are delicate beasts. Their tires may be “high-maintenance,” but oh, the low resistance is worth it. Still, clearly, I need more experience handling a real road bike [facepalm].

Wishing everyone a joyful “holiday season” 🌞
(Even though National Day has passed, mine is just beginning.)
